With a luggage call at 6:45 this morning, we packed our bags and loaded onto the bus. We traveled to a cacao plantation where we got to see the process it takes to make chocolate. To get to the plant we needed to cross the suspension bridge; the largest in the country, 840 meters long. We got to taste the chocolate on each step of production. It tasted very bitter at first but got sweeter as the process got further along. After our tour was over we were given coco beans to take home. Our next stop was for lunch where a friend of our guide made us a wonderful lunch. We got to see her house and meet her family. After a mix up with the hotels, we were taken to the hot springs where we spent a few wonderful hours in the hot springs. Now we are settling into the hotel for the night, getting ready for another exciting day tomorrow.
